Two important things were decided at last night's tenants meeting:
1. A clear majority of tenants stated that we should accept PACC's latest proposal of compensation for heatless winter days (total compensation for 18 days).
2. Margie (4C) and Greg (2D) accepted nominations for president and vice-president respectively.
As a result of these decisions we will not be appealing the previous DHCR decision.
Margie and Greg are ready to go but it was decided that the tenants association might take a summer break until the second Wed. in August, August 12th Wed. at 8pm.
It took a lot of work to get PACC to admit to owing some compensation for heatless winter days. Thanks to all who participated especially in the meetings with PACC staff.
